It's impossible to know which map is accurate or what's really happening.
Ukraine says they're counter attacking, the Russia MoD says they've "completed stage 1" and will focus exclusively on Eastern Ukraine / Crimea from this point forward.
Reading the tea leaves, that doesn't sound great for RF, but I'm biased and admit my bias may color my interpretation.

Russian MOD just held a briefing with a map in the background… it’s much more in line with western understanding than the Russian propaganda maps.
They also declared the operation was moving into Phase 2 (mission accomplished?)… and they Kyiv was never the goal.

Yea I think it’s safe to say things aren’t going so well for Russia since theyve already started officially moving the goal posts of what success is for this “special operation”.
What happened to denazifying Ukraine? What happened to ensuring Ukrainian neutrality?
Convenient that a “win” is suddenly just liberating the area you had more or less already taken before the war started.
