It should have also been obvious to the powers that be in Western capitals at least as long. After all, they’re privy to far more intel than any of us. They claim to stand with Ukraine. But they are doing nothing to help them find a way out of a war they’ve obviously already lost. Instead they’re sending billions more in military aid that will not make any difference on the battlefield and will only serve to further add to the butchers bill of this now pointless war.

Ukraine is running low on men, and the conflict is unsustainable.
Russia is running low on armored vehicles to refurbish, and their conduct of the war is unsustainable. Russia will also go broke in about a year and face financial collapse, so the war is unsustainable.
