Not sure if this has been shared yet but the Czech Republic is sending Ukraine combat helicopters as well as f-16 simulators so Ukrainian pilots can train on the f-16 while still in Ukraine. That’s a pretty big deal since the exact process of integrating f-16s into the Ukrainian Air Force is taking longer than expected in how and where they plan to do official training at. Now Ukrainian pilots can have a little head start before they leave the country to train, hopefully reducing the time it will take to make their pilots combat ready.

I don’t see why they want F-16s so badly. It’s got no range and can hardly carry any payload. I doubt it’s survivable enough to operate in enemy airspace. Best case throw some Air to Air missiles on it and let fly defensive patrols around Kiev or something. I don’t see it being a game changer.
