Assuming not, we've never had equal treatment in the history of mankind and society has somehow carried on and prevailed. There is no such thing as equality. Someone will always have more money than you, more cars than you, more properties than you, etc.
Equality is simply an unattainable idea that "they" use to keep people living under slave mentality, giving the common folk an illusion to believe in so that they think someone is actually fighting for them.

You’re conflating “equality” and “equal treatment.” Obviously people will never be equal in any sort of measurable way, and I’m clearly not advocating for equal outcomes; which are in a totally separate category of thought than equal treatment by law enforcement, which is what this is. In that regard I will repeat, if people aren’t being treated equally by the law who are engaging in the exact same act at the exact time and we cannot say that is wrong, then we have no society.
