re: 4-year-old girl missing since 2019 found alive, hidden under stairs in NY

The only ever so slight possibly less gut wrenching part here is, from reading the full story in the link, it sounds as if they were hiding her there while the authorities were looking around. It doesn't seem to say anywhere she actually lived in the staircase.

Still a fricking terrible story, and who knows what happened in that house with her parents that kidnapped her, but hopefully nothing based on her being in good health and able to be immediately returned to her legal guardian.
