I’ve seen plenty of deliveries without a truck but never without a uniform.

So? Anytime you fly on something like a United feeder/commuter flight, most of those people wearing United uniforms are not United employees.
Someone wearing a McDonalds uniform is almost never an employee of McDonalds.

As noted in my post above, they lease shitloads of trucks from Hertz.
