Apple Tv reigns supreme but there's nothing really wrong with the firestick assuming you have solid consistent internet speeds above 200Mbps. Sure it's interface is laggy in comparison but you get what you pay for. The 4k version cost me $30 during a Christmas sale. Hard to beat. And no you don't need an Amazon account to use one. It will stream Netflix, Hulu, AppleTV, HBOMAX, etc just fine.

How do you get to the Home Screen? When you turn theirs on, it says that there’s a problem with their account, and it won’t go to the app screen. Do they just need to sign out of Amazon to access the other apps?
