Airline credit recs advice (Covid)

Paging Cuse & anyone who can help...
We booked April 2020 flights through Chase Ultimate Rewards to Amsterdam for us and my daughter to visit Keukenhof & (facking) Bruges. BA refunded our money, but AA gave us a credit that expires 3/31.
Once the CSR card went up to $650/year, I cancelled it a few months ago but we still got an e-mail from Chase outlining our $554 credit for each passenger. Now, Chase reps (likely in India) are no help and say the numbers I provide don't exist...all we want to do is go to Chicago for the St. Pats parade (even taking our credit loss.)
My next step is contacting American but their records don't always match the Chase ones, regardless of the 3-4 hour callback time. If I have the original 6-letter confirmation code, does that do me any good?
Covid hosed us out of our trip, but just trying to avoid getting hosed out of the funds that went into it.
Anyone with any similar experiences dealing with these morons is appreciated

Tricky one that chase should be able to help with but I think you can go through AA by looking up the ticket number. For AA stock tickets, it'll be a 001 number followed by a bunch more numbers. You may be able to pull up the old reservation using your name and confirmation code on AAs site as well. Last you should check your AA wallet (if you have an advantage number) and see if the trip credit is in there.

Travel board Bat-signal is working
AA wallet is blank as I only fly them when I have to.
Hoping the six letter code helps...thanks for hopping in the thread, Cuse!
ETA: good news! I've got 3 001 ticket numbers from the AMS flights

Also always worth trying to call Chase again and get a different person.

Just went through this exercise with Chase & AA. I'd downgraded my CSR to CSP and so my credit didn't show up at either Chase or AA anymore.
Having the 001 number saved my arse. Both Chase and AA will be able to find it. AA rep told me to book through Chase because it is their ticket (starts with 001) -- and that AA would have to charge a fee to rebook with the credit. She said they'd been getting lots of calls from people who were told by Chase that they couldn't rebook, only AA could, but that was incorrect. She said if that happens to escalate to a supervisor and insist Chase owns the credit.
Hope that is helpful.
