People don’t want to hear it but it is really as simple as pinson. T.O. Were down, assist

Were up, opponents scoring was down. When pinson was healthy. Gains is not ready to be a full time sec point guard. He turns the ball over to much. He’s a good compliment to pinson. He could come in off the bench and create hovock with his defense. Having him run the entire show is a liability.

You will get blasted and downvoted but you’re right. A point guard that distributes and runs the half court offense is what is missing. Two completely different teams with him healthy vs not.

Are we forgetting about the Adam Miller injury? The fans that want Wade gone are crazy.

I don’t buy it. Pinson is a factor but even when this team was 11-0 they were not great at scoring. Some weak competition skewed the stats but the shooting wasn’t good.

I’ll add that this switching every player is getting the defense caught in some really bad mismatches. It’s getting us in foul trouble and teams are scoring off of it.

I predicted 6 SEC losses just before conference schedule started and some of y’all replied that I was crazy. Welp!

So Pinson is going to play D better than Gaines too? Because this team isn't, and hasn't been defending the three once again, which is the trademark of a Wade coached team. Teams have figured out how to attack our D now, and not just yesterday, but going back several games now are getting wide open threes. Yet, people on here claim teams are just hot against us. LOL.

12-6 would have been great. Looking at 7-11 at best now, and a NIT bid. I love the people that are using Miller as an excuse. He hasn't played a minute this season, and without him these same posters were speculating if we could make a 2 seed.......but now, not having Miller is an excuse.

If Pinson doesn’t go down we’re probably sitting at 6-4, maybe 7-3 in SEC play. Sucks he went down.

If that’s so then Wade did a horrible job of constructing this team

One injury shouldn’t take a team from a potential 1 seed to losing five out of six games to inferior opponents

i dont know anyone who lives in reality that thought they would be a 1 seed preseason.

Also, its 2 injuries, to your 2 best ball handlers and your best shooter. Minimizing the importance of losing those 2 guys just makes you look ignorant

Orgeron lost Brennan (and many, many others), should LSU have given him a mulligan?

y’all make it sound like he averages double digit assists per game

him being our PG isn’t going to make the other 4 shoot better, pass better, dribble better, penetrate better

he can only do so much

Quit acting like he’s Kemba Walker in college

I can’t believe y’all are still riding the excuse that we are only losing because we don’t have Pinson. There are way more issues than just missing Pinson. This team isn’t fundamentally sound. I’m a big WW fan I definitely don’t think he should go but he needs to work on a lot with this team offensively when things aren’t going their way.

In what year was Wade’s team fundamentally sound?

the frick is this? Did orgeron only have that 1 bad season in his coaching career?

Do you not understand the level of importance from basketball relative to football?

Oh, so having 55/85 scholarship players isn’t important in football. My bad.

The frick?

Injuries are part of the game. Good coaches overcome, Wade’s teams never do. He had one good year and if you’re honest, that team’s roster was AT LEAST a sweet 16 roster.

I'm the first to say I'm glad to see O gone.

That said, did Wade win a natty or even come close?

This is not all on the Pinson injury. Other teams have figured us out. We have zero offensive identity. Didn’t have one with Pinson in either. This team is just not fundamentally sound. We foul way too much, don’t rebound particularly well, and have not been playing sound defense lately. All recipes for disaster in league play. That’s also on the coaches.

The great start was fools gold. Everyone thought we were world beaters, but we simply were not that good. I don’t care what computers say (lies, damn lies, and statistics). The eyes do not lie. You cannot watch that game yesterday and say we gave great effort.

We miss that ability to bring gaines and Eason in after the first timeout

That was a really nice move before the injury

Not sure where i said it wasnt, also, alot of those issues were caused by the coach himself. Either way its a different sport and doesnt correlate here.

Well he has never been down his best 2 ball handlers. I dont know any basketball coaches who have, but im sure there are a few

Too bad they made the sweet 16
