I hope you're right...he does lay the wood when he tackles. I am just looking forward to seeing Baker play soon. What's sad is that big heavy hitting LBs are losing their value with all of the spread or spread/option type offenses being used. A team has to play a nickle package almost every game.

Your exactly correct........although that isn't a problem in down and distance situations. 3rd and 8 yeah nickel package but 3rd and 1 and you can still play your 4-3 scheme.

Cutera is getting better each game he plays and if you deny that your not watching the games I'm watching. You are not an avg player if you play in the SEC especially on defense.

He doesnt make "great" reads. He is out of position more often than you think. He misses tackles. He is BELOW average in pass coverage.

Your reasoning that Cutrera is average applies to Riley and Sheppard. They all miss tackles, they all overpursue, and they all have trouble in pass coverage. I like them all...was one of the few people saying they were good 3 years ago so I'm not slamming them, but you have selective memory if you think Riley and Sheppard aren't doing the same things. They are still inexperienced.

To be perfectly honest, I envision Riley moving to the inside. The guy is big and can cover alot of ground. And Baker and Shepard will be our outside backers. The only thing stopping this is if Riley cant handle the calls at mlb.

I would like that a lot...

I think he'll see action next year... He's doing exactly what Sheppard did last year. On the ball every kickoff... How many times did you hear ""Perriloux" with great coverage on that kick"?
