This Joe Rogan/Neil Young controversy is hilarious

These old washed musicians and actor-actresses being pissed off at Rogan is so funny. They were of course a part of our past and the nostalgia they provide is nice but they are hacks seeking to become relevant again and their time is done.
This is what happens when a lot of celebrities become irrelevant. Their next move is to become a SJW and that way they get to become relevant again and feel all good about joining a ‘cause,’ etc., etc.
Same old shite with these insecure no longer relevant celebrities desperately clinging to their past glory days. I used to think it was sad but now it’s become a source of entertainment because it is so predictable and actually funny to observe.

What’s funny is young Neil Young would have idolized the current Joe Rogan.

It sucks when you see fresh, thought-provoking voices from the past become NPC authoritarian shills. Howard Stern and Eminem are good examples. Everything that made them interesting is dead.

You are spot on. Neil probably doesn’t give a flying shite about who Rogan has on his podcast. It’s a ‘relevant’ move. Happens all the time. Attention whores. Once great, once adored, now becoming washed up if not already so and then BOOM! I’m relevant again!
Usually for a few weeks and then they, as always, fade. Granted a short term interest and revival of their music or movies or whatever but they go back to where they were….irrelevant again.

Never listened to a Joe Rogan podcast, but I downloaded one last night. I wonder what Neil would have done had radio stations and record stores tried to censor the protest songs he wrote, back when he was relevant.
And please, Joni, take down your songs. I do listen to Spotify on occasion, and I thank you for it. I've listened to your songs from both sides now, and still, somehow, you still suck.

There's no set schedule for when he does pods. Sometime you'll go a week or more with nothing and then all the sudden 3 days in a row new episodes
