re: nil money vs other programs (lsu can’t compete)

The endowment is meaningless outside of being an indicator of local financial might, IMO. LSU needs to find a way to play small ball with a broader group of local businesses and trade groups. They also need to find a way to get our alumni pro athletes more involved. The money is out there, they just need to cast a very wide net.

I think some type of regulation will come soon. Things cant stay like they are, unless the NCAA wants college football to become a cesspool of illicit cash deals and unregulated free agency. If LSU can hold the line until that happens, they'll be OK.
