Have you ever tried to consistently lose 5 lbs / month?
You’re missing my point here though. Regardless of if it’s fast or not, without anabolics it’s extremely difficult to lose fat without losing muscle.

For someone with a large amount of body fat, simply not true. I could show you dexa scans for days that prove otherwise

actually, it's not.

I’ve lost 50 lbs in four months on two separate occasions. Not a big deal. Absolutely no muscle loss for me. There was none to start with.

Well I can tell you aren’t a Nutritionist

In case you are wondering all of them downvotes you are getting is from that group of grown men who think LSU basketball did not exist before will wade. They are easy to spot they wear knee pads through out the day so they can comfortably drop to their knees and perform on command.

It really is unreal. I wouldn't call them grown men though. Hopefully most are college kids that simply don't know any better and think just making it to the trny is the goal. The alarming ones are the older ones who know what it was like when LSU basketball was rolling. And yet still act like Wade is a god with his 4 and 5 star recruits and 1 trny win.

Lol. You must be then.
Unless you’re in a total body recomp position and have a ton of bad weight on you and little good weight (muscle), then dropping a significant amount of fat without muscle loss is very difficult.
I’m betting he wasn’t in that position, as he had likely been working out plenty. So he had + good weight and + bad weight.
To lose that kind of weight requires a caloric deficit. To gain muscle, you need a slight caloric surplus.
To continue to workout while in a caloric deficit can retain some muscle, but at the end of the day to nail that perfect calorie intake to metabolic rate ratio to ONLY burn fat and not any muscle is pretty hard. Obviously top notch nutritionist and training staff could get close, but there’s no way in the world that his muscle mass is the same at 235 as it was at 272.
I would bet my paycheck I know more about this than you. I would love to know what a dexa scan or inbody scan would’ve shown at 272 vs 235. I’m sure body fat % is way down, but muscle mass is as well.

LSU has almost rarely been anything in basketball. I don’t understand the hype.
