You’re not the only person who thinks Russia could be the greatest strategic buffer to China we could have. They are at the very least a Christian Orthodox version of communist ideologies. So common ground could be found on a societal basis.

Problem is, Russia’s leadership is all about keeping a strong seat at the table. They’ll be happy to see the head seat change from time to time if just means they get to keep their spot.

Not sure how much history or culture will help when Mach 10 warheads start falling from the sky though. Appeasement is also not a great way to get what you want. American Soy cuck bois are a testament to how much you stand to lose if you’re a complete pussy

That's very close to how I feel from a geo-politicial odds perspective.

There is about 100-200 years of "live and let live" that can happen between America and Russia in my $0.02 perspective. In that timeline a fair amount could happen in the advancements humans could experience.

It is, at the very least, a postponement of terrors.

Japan could also be a huge thorn in the side of China. We should remove the shackles we imposed on them after WW2. They are not allowed to build a military ( then have a “self defense force” ) but don’t really have any offensive capabilities. We are responsible for their defense.

Let Japan rearm and build a military. That would keep the Chinese from trying to take over the South China Sea.
