You keep stating this same thing over and over and have yet to show anything that makes it true. It's pure speculation.
Brennan, sure but in reality, does it matter? He's got 1 year, if he stays healthy, which is a bigger gamble than taking Williams and him possibly transferring. He's never been healthy so what makes you so sure he will next year? Trusting Brennans health seems to be the biggest risk to our qb room.
Howard is redshirting regardless and no matter where he goes he's gonna have someone ahead of him initially. Him transferring is pure speculation on your part with no basis to stand on.
Nuss, so what? He's already shown his colors. Making the decision to save his RS, leaving us with Kirklin as the qb for the bowl is all I needed to see regarding Nuss. No loss if he leaves. It's coming whether Williams were to come or not. Howard's better and the next recruit will be as well. He can leave now and I won't lose sleep over it
So really what's the bigger risk, taking Williams and having Brennan and Nuss bolt or trusting Brennan to be healthy and Nuss to actually play when called upon? Maybe just me but seems the room we have is more risky than taking Williams.
As for the recruits not trusting BK after, is this only an LSU thing? Doesn't seem to hurt any other coaches around the country. Every coach in the country has something like this in their background and many a yearly occasion yet they still bring in top classes. Strange or maybe it's just not a big deal.
I post all this in no way believing Williams is coming here. Just saying if the choice is mine, I take Williams and win now. May the chips fall where they may. The portal makes it an even easier decision. This qb carousel is gonna be a yearly thing for all schools. The next guy is always just a year away now if needed.

I disagree. I think you lose Myles if Caleb comes. One is not going to want to play sparingly. I think Walker would be ok with Caleb. He is planning to sit for a year and then he can play alittle the next year for experience and then full starter in 2024. Now if Arch comes, then I see Walker transferring.
