and how many combined majors does the rest of the tennis world have combined among active players? I'd say if only 3 guys have managed to master a sport that is played worldwide, then that sport is pretty damn hard to master

I agree with you, my point was more so that no one has ever really “mastered” hitting a baseball and we have three guys that you could argue have all mastered tennis at it’s highest level all around the same time.
I guess mastered is subjective. Since baseball is such a sport of failure it depends on how you quantify having mastered it.
