I’m sure this is not a Louisiana thing but I’ll be damned if it isn’t a handy tool in a coonass kitchen. I use mine all the time. There is no better tool for getting the oil off of stews, gumbos, gravy, and other soups.
“Change your life” is not an overstatement. It really made life in the kitchen easier for the above applications.
