Ok. You rescue a cavalier from a mill. The dog never had a dental. At least $200 right there. You notice eyes draining. Turns out there is a condition and dog needs drops. More cost to rehab before adopting out. Might have heartworms. Never was fixed. Might have a luxating patella and need surgery. See how it adds up quick?
