Have the same issue with my 2016. Apparently it is a common and known issue with an APIM module that needs to be replaced and reprogrammed. For some reason Ford refuses to issue a recall. There are several Ford forums that discuss the same problem. I had mine looked at Ford wanted around $1500 to fix it. I just do the reset thing every few weeks.
