If 400mb Suddenlink is "always much faster" than your 1G fiber service, you have your devices set up incorrectly. I generally get 700/700 over wifi, and I don't think I've gone below 450 anywhere in my house, under any conditions, ever.

I don’t really know what to do any differently. I’m moderately tech savvy but I just don’t know what to do in this instance.
