Weird to see Tomac on a Yammy. I've been out of the loop so dunno if Webb is healthy but if he is I think he'll win the Title.

Any of y’all actually ride?

Not anymore, knees are shot and I don’t bounce quite like I used to

Joy ride with my son and getting him into it. Saw Tomac win at Atlanta Motor Speedway with my boy last year. Got my son a Kawasaki and then the sumbitch switches to Yamaha

I’m looking forward to Plessinger on the KTM. I hated to see him leave Yamaha! We’ve been faithful to Yamaha since 2015 when my son received support from Yamaha for off road racing. We absolutely love the Yamahas!
At 46, I have only ridden a hand full of times the last three years. I wrenched for a pro in 94 and 95 from south Louisiana. Guy I wrenched for lapped RC at the Milton track in late 94/early 95 in pro class. RC finished 2nd out of 20 plus bikes.
It was a fun 2 years. I met a lot of people in the industry that I will always remember.

I’ve got a good friend that was an incredible mechanic at gnc Honda in bossier city. He passed away a couple years ago. Name was Jamie Roberson or Robertson, he was more my dads friend. Best mechanic in the north Louisiana arklatex area. Anybody itt know him?

This has been such an interesting offseason! Tomac with the BluCru, El Hombre on the green machine, Mookie with Husky while training with Plessinger (KTM). I'm looking forward to seeing how Webb does without Aldon's program. My sleeper is Sexton. Lastly, I'm hoping AC can put together a full and competitive season but seems like he's already starting out behind the eight ball.

Do supercross riders have to wear a mask under their helmet?
Posted on 1/8/22 at 10:32 am to BeepNode
BeepNode,
Negative on KDub. He now has a training facility on his property in Centreville, Ms, but his riding is limited.
To do what he did at 40 at Des Nations was impressive, but he hated the 3 months of training to get ready for it.

No mask under helmet. They would die!
I believe they quit wearing them all together last year in outdoor series.
Motocrosser’s are usually rule breakers who don’t like to be told what to do. You can’t live your life chasing adrenaline and then be scared of a common cold.

Tiger pride,
I worked at Bayou Honda and Yamaha in 93-early 94. There was a Jamie that was there for a short period of time who raced 3 wheelers in the 80’s. I don’t remember his last name.
I ran into him 5-6 years ago at an LACC race after not seeing him for 20 years. I traveled and raced all through early 80’s then again early to mid 90’s. We started the racing again around 2010 with my sons, then just my youngest son until 2019. He still rides weekly and races a few times a year, but no more 20-30 weekends a year.
