They need a visa to come to the USA. If you look at our border, that doesn't seem to be the case.

I could get her son here fairly easily but his father won't allow it. Unfortunately Ukrainian law requires the fathers permission to leave the country.

Getting the her parents here would be much harder but not impossible. I'm not sure if they would even want that though.

They live a hard life there in Ukraine. They just got an indoor toilet about 10 years ago. They don't have a dryer, the list goes on. But going to anothe country is difficult, even it is more luxurious. You have to get use to the food, climate, make new friends, learn the language, etc. It is definitely fish out of water thing. I don't think her parents would necessarily be more happy here.
