Congrats to him but that is almost an impossible place to win in football. That is a basketball school with no emphasis on football.

That’s a solid hire for the Cenla area. With open enrollment in Rapides Parish, he will probably do a good job of pulling talent out of Pineville/Tioga area. That’s what has made Bachmann so successful at Ash. He can probably cut into their talent pool now.

yea Bachmann pulls from OUTSIDE Rapides Parish also. It'll catch up with him real soon.

Absolutely untrue. We've had several winning seasons over the last decade including several playoff appearances and our first ever playoff wins.
Problem is and always has been we either hire old retreads that won't adapt to modern concepts or good young dynamic coaches that do and win but don't get the financial support from the school board level to hire actual assistants to develop kids and create that consistent culture rather that cecp coaches that just help out on their own time. You simply need actual knowledgeable coaches to excel and retain these young coaches.
This feels different because the new principal is not complacent, has been very good at reinvigorating the community and alumni and placing an emphasis on excelling at everything. He also has a very good relationship with the current superintendent and seems to get what he needs from him. It's a very different relationship from past Peabody principals and the past superintendents.
