"IT" is a pretty nebulous designation. There are a lot of software development jobs in Atlanta, but that's not really "IT" to the people hiring for that job. Even security has kind of grown into its own field.

I'd be bi-curious to hear what exactly it is that OP wants to do all day until he retires. Of course, it all has to be weighed against the fact that he lives with his folks. That gets old quick.
