I'm actually only now realizing that he had another post I missed, but I wanted to quickly respond to this before I move to that one: Just to be clear again, I'm not arguing that building a PC right now is a better value proposition than a PS5, if you can get it for MSRP. My posts have been in response to his statement that his PS5 blows his $4k gaming computer out of the water. We've now learned that he meant "blows it out of the water playing Minecraft", but still

Yeah I will only argue for the value proposition of the new consoles. No way they keep up with top PC hardware.

But price-to-performance is really impressive (if you can get one at MSRP, which I did). I keep all games at performance mode bc 1440p 60fps >>>> 4k 30fps imo
