We can roll them forward to use on 2023 early enrollees if we have to, but that's tough to swallow when your roster is this depleted.
The only argument I would make to support rolling over unused spots is that BK might get better players after a full recruiting cycle.
But again.. that's a tough pill to swallow if you're facing <70 scholarship players on next year's roster.

Lot of work to be done. I don't see replacing transfers with portal kids as being a big problem.
Finding 12 more HS kids worthy of an LSU offer at this point in the game to max out your 25 is IMO.

Really informative and thank you. Looks like the three keys are academic eligibility, left the university on or after the last day of the fall term and have remaining eligibility. I had no idea how complex the replacement process was. Simply thought that if a player transferred, he could be replaced. Now I know it's not that simple. Bottom line, I believe Kelly & staff will be on top of this much more than O.
