I like most here think it's nuts to spend that much on fishing pliers. I just got an unexpected gift that had a Bubba filet knife and pliers. I have not used either yet but both seem to be well made and have some coating that is supposed to be impervious to SW. Not sure what they cost either (Bubba stuff high as Snoop Dogg), but prolly less that VS type stuff.

Bubba blade imo sucks and overpriced..
