As lsu hired a db or safety coach yet. Both Cooks and the other guy are defensive assistan

It’s safe to assume Cooks and Steeples will be the Safeties and CB’s coaches.

You are correct the are defensive assistants It might be a couple of weeks before a defensive db or safety head coach is hired

I'm going to assume the guy who played CB in the NFL is going to coach the Corners, and the guy who's coached DBs and has been a DC will be the Safeties coach.
House - DC/LB
Cain - DL/DRGC
Steeples - CB coach
Cooks - S Coach

Kelly is trying to build a mansion not a shack. Not sure what's ridiculous about it other than the fact we are stuck out not knowing in the cold. Overall the staff Kelly has hired is lights out. Some coaches can't be hired until their season is over. I am sure it will all unfold soon but not sure why its ridiculous.

Then why not give them the titles? This is the part I don't understand. Is Kelly trying to pull another coach in to PGC over those two or something?
I'm not worried about the hires or lack thereof but does anyone know why they wouldn't already be labeled as DB and Safety coaches now if that's where they will end up?

Just a guess
Maybe waiting till after bowl game so the coaches involved with bowl game can do what they need to do.

I thought about that too but we officially hired and labeled matt house as DC. We also hired an OC and QB coach which we already have on staff. So I don't think it's that.
