We started using a banex electric reel for our black fin lol. Braid straight to a diamond jig, with a blinky light right above the jig. Let it fall on freespool til it stops, and lock it up and give her the beans.

We did it once when we were drunk and bored about a year ago, and ended up loading the boat with all the black fin you could ever want. It’s our new go-to for getting cut bait now lol.

LOL we have tanacom 1000 and Daiwa MJ1200 i know it has a jigging function on it just never messed with it. Def going to have to try figure that out one out as I hate butterfly jigging with a passion..
