We have a central parking area that gets use to many of our stands so the deer are used to seeing sxs in that area. Some stands are 500 yards and others are 200 yards from that spot. We also have an electric sxs that we use when we feel like we’re going into an area that is close to bedding or known bucks.

I’ll add there is a huge difference in Louisiana/ Mississippi deer and Texas deer as well as how much pressure is put on them. That’s probably the biggest factor.

When it gets real muddy, it can be difficult to walk in. If I ride, I try to go at the same time another hunter is going that will drive past my stand. That way, they think the bike kept going.
