The rich will get richer. The NCAA needs to adjust their thinking about roster management. I'm assuming it will be ironed out. Having only 50 scholarship players for a bowl is crazy.

Strangely, one way to level the playing field could be to REDUCE the number of scholarships available. It will spread the talent around, just like you see in the NFL and in college basketball. In basketball there are many good players out there, but Duke, UNC, Kansas, etc can only have 13 on scholarship. That means some big time talent can go elsewhere.

Right now A&M is paying a ton (and they are blatantly telling you the are). But with an 85 player roster they can afford to stash guys away. Cut that down to 65 or so and you’ll have 20 guys who have to go elsewhere
