“He’s just a strong-minded coach,” said safety Mike Edwards. “He’s a players’ coach. I love him to death; he’s one of the best coaches I’ve had in my career. He’s going to be hands-on, and he gets familiar with his players.”

“He’s going to hold you accountable for everything,” said safety Darius West. “He’ll correct you no matter what. He’s not passive, he’ll get after you and let you know what you have to do to be successful.”

I appreciate these quotes while also realizing how excited people were about Daronte and Peetz coming in.

Coaches want to grow, learn and continue to challenge themselves. O couldn't bring in these types of coaches. All he could bring in were has beens and wishful thinkers based on the words of his crushes. We see how that worked out for him.
