Veterinarians will be rock stars and don't forget Podcasters!

Lol, not all of us. Some fought the fight from the inside and have changed a lot of minds, that you will never hear publicly.

I trust a used car salesman more than any medical "professional".

Not hardly. As long as the law requires scripts for certain meds and procedures they will be fine.

They are not going to run out of customers. They should run out of customers, but unless people learn to be okay with dying before 75 they won't.

Medicine is basically a skilled trade for the vast majority of practitioners.
That's not an insult.

But, to expect medical people to critically think, develop solutions etc isn't reasonable.
That's not their skill-set. That's what engineers and scientists do.
Healthcare people administer established care protocols.

The NIH etc shite the bed.
Academics blew it.

Don't blame run of mill Doctors.
Sure as shite isn't nurses and pharmacist fault.

This may be the dumbest comment made today and it’s only 7:30 am. Impressive

it is always a matter of time before myth hits reality. disappointment in the medical professionals is merely a sign that they were appointed to, or in other words held a false reputation, that was not in keeping with what they actually do... which as another poster stated is to follow protocols... they basically follow dance routines choreographed by the necessity to eliminate responsibility and liability...aka the potential for lawsuits. i do believe that there are healers in the medical profession but not as many as one would hope....they were smart kids who didn't mind sick and injured people, so that's the job they chose because the pay is great and it's socially impressive...now most are locked in with mega hospitals and couldn't make their own decisions. i'd be angrier if i had thought them heros but i usually just saw them as people... still i think it's time to drop the farce that they follow the oath instead of the paycheck... no more ethical than a typical mechanic which means you're better off if you know a bit before you go in and subject yourself to them, learn how to do what you can yourself, double check what they tell ya, and think it through because they aren't doing it for free and neither is their boss

The mechanic is likely more ethical. More likely to live middle class values, attend church and is more connected to both the rich and poor.

Part of the blame lies in the corporatisation of healthcare. When the bureaucrats disavow a treatment option and then incentivize a different, the bean counters in corporate will comply to improve the bottom line.

The only Drs. I go to are specialists. My disillusionment with Drs. started when I was 24 and in nursing school.I lost a semester because I contracted Hepatitis A,after I recovered my blood pressure was running high (probably due to anxiety).I went to a Dr. recommended to me and his advice to me was quit taking my bp.
Then working 35 years as a nurse,31 in ICU I saw that good family practice and Internal medicine Drs.were rare as hens teeth. The only Drs. I have any faith in are specialists-surgeons,cardiologists,ortho,etc.Then,I don’t have faith in all of them.
One good thing being in medical profession is one is able to find out which Drs to go to and which ones to avoid.
Ther was 1 FP Dr.I thought was good until I found out he doesn’t believe in ivermectin. So frick him.

Not a bad idea.

I know I prolly see the doctor more often than necessary. No real NEED for that.

Now that I see just how worthless the medical field really is, maybe I'll just stay away.

I had unlimited trust in medicine, but now I fear it.

Want to fix it? Do an honest investigation of what happened here. There's some bureaucrats like Anthony Fauci that deserve to be locked up for murder along with politicians and media types that enabled him.

Actually have some consequences befall some people and you'll go a long way towards fixing this and future problems.

Yea, doctors can’t really speak publicly against this stuff or they are done. It’s like an archeologist who has a new theory because of evidence found, but gets kicked out of the profession because it goes against the narrative. They get aggressively and relentlessly attacked
