Brewers look to be done so time for the next game.

Cubs fate rest in the hands of Big Z who has been pretty terrible since the no hitter. We all knew Soriano wasn't gonna come close to hitting any of Lowe's pitches, so heres to a rebound night for Fonzy and a big HR in the postseason. Cubs face Billingsley and will have to jump on him early and often. Cubs win this one and take some huge MO into LA with a 7-3 victory!

GO CUBS GO!

CE, gotta call you out...where were you last night in the thread you started?? 2335 and I were left behind to take all the bs from the Astros fans with penis envy.

Gotta say, I've never been this nervous about a Cubs game in my life. Zambrano has to control his emotions, and that scares the daylights out of me.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the Cubs win tonight, but as a lifelong Dodger fan, I'm hoping they go back to LA 2-0.

Go Dodgers!

It wasn't you that had me mad..it was the cubs...I was even telling people in other threads, other Cubs fans, and so on to shut the frick up about the loss. I'm not a great loser...even though being a Bills fan, a Jazz fan, and a Cubs fan you think I would have plenty of practice

They tried that in 1996 or 1997 when they had the 12 game home losing streak to start the season. It didn't work.

2335, think I've got this figured. Your a borg. Your a member of the kub collective. Are you like number 2335 of 2500 or something?
(sorry, if you are not a trekie, I apologize)

CE, that is a good excuse. Got anymore of those painkillers to share?

Seriously, I'm back for a dose of my medicine. I dished shite out last night, i'm ready to take it tonight. The Z man can be a horse, but I have my reasons for hating his freakin guts.

With that said, good luck, and go whoever plays the kubs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually, I think it was 1996. They definitely started 0-14 in 1997, but in 1996, they started out winless at home (I think it was 0-12) and that's when they did the goat thing.

I used to have a shirt pre-Katrina that commemorated the 45 cent budweisers they were selling at Harry Caray's restaurant during the 14 game losing streak. It started around game 5 or 6 and lasted until the Cubs won a game.
