Gee, I don't know, man. Could it be that Brennan was in the transfer portal, ready to leave, and then suddenly decided to come back? Could that be it?
I also didn't say "the man", I said the leader in the clubhouse. Meaning, it's his job to lose. Theoretically, he could lose it, but he's got the clear inside track. Why else would he take himself out of the portal?
