This is a little misleading as denbrock was still the play caller and left when they were taking his play calling away.

During the 2002 NFL season, Jim Fassel, head coach of the NY Giants stripped his offensive coordinator of his play calling duties. That offensive coordinator eventually bounced back and went on to have a pretty successful career calling plays in the NFL. His name is Sean Payton.
