Oh there is no doubt woody meddled in assistant hires. We will never know for sure what went down with Pelini but that stinks of woody meddling. Also the freeman last minute change of heart stinks of woody too.

Why? Why does a bad coaching hire real of the AD and not the HC who has made almost only bad hires?

Outside Brady who’s the best coordinator O hires ever?

Ed made the hire. Without even interviewing the guy.


It's almost like you're suggesting that Woodward should've held Ed's hand and 'guide' him through the duties of being a head coach. All of that is on Ed, not Woodward.

I'm not suggesting Woodward can't make mistakes or anything like that but you make it sound like he should be the babysitter for the head football coach.


Seems like he'd leave the hiring of football coordinators up the head football coach, yes? He's the one that makes the hires.

Ed has his eyes on someone, he tried to get them. If they accept the job or not is a reflection of how those potential targets feel about working for Ed, not for Woodward.
