Would think it would be a great place to get exposure. Top facilities ,chance at playoff yearly, top Athletes , great pay etc... Why wouldnt a top OC /DC want to jump on this opportunity? especially when they are working at a place that doesn't have any of these things? Maybe my P&G glasses are on but we seem to go thru this every time we are looking. Aranda seems to be the last Guy that came in with some hype and that has been a while.

A "top OC/DC" doesn't need exposure. He's already known as a top OC/DC and is considering a move to HC.

Next, what top HCs do you see getting top OC/DCs? Is Saban hiring these top coordinators? Everyone here thinks his OC and DC are garbage. What is the model program that you see doing all of the things regarding hiring coaches that LSU shoud be doing?

A top coach like BC doesn't need a "top OC/DC." Guys like BK can eye undervalued assistants and prop them up. The only difference between top assistants and the undervalued assistants is that the latter group doesn't yet have the experience. People should get off of this notion that we need a "top name."
