They were not allowed to go home, didn’t have cell phones, and the tornado ripped through that building and killed people. It’s not hard to see why people are upset at Amazon and demanding accountability.

None of that is true… Jesus you people will believe anything.
The mom of one of the killed was on the phone with him 5 min before it happened and he told her they were about to move to shelter.

This would be retarded more so impossible to do. Also, since when do you send employees home during a storm? They couldn’t even make it to the safe side, over 1 mil sq ft warehouse.
Yeah let’s get them outside, iTs SaFeR

didn’t have cell phones
This is what they’ll get hit on. I know ppl who work there and there is a strict no phone on the floor policy.

Bad tornado predicting in December, our bad…
No I don’t work for Amazon and don’t even have an account.
This is the Midwest, it’s not shocking a tornado happened in December, weather changes daily.
They did have warnings and predictions, but seriously asking why they didn’t cancel work is dumb.

I think people will want to know what kind of warning they were given since they don’t allow cellphones as well how they stopped them from leaving if they didn’t have adequate shelter.

Maybe if the folks weren't such tight asses building these warehouses then more lives could have been saved. They are death traps.
