If you are going to go with “the money wouldn’t be spent the way you are saying” then why would that not be true for a wall or border security? Couldn’t that money be corruptly misappropriated in a similar fashion?

“Yeah but corruption” isn’t a great argument for or against the hypothesis of an idea. Sure, once you agree on the efficacy of an idea, at its purest, you can discuss corruption.

“Yea but corruption!” Is the same nonstarter that anti-capitalists use.

because we can see the erection of the border wall = and it was necessitated by over half a century of bad policy that attracts more of them.

You know very well that the only reason Democrats want more immigrants (preferably illegal because they are harder to trace and make for good census numbers to increase representation from the sanctuary states to vote for more of the same)Additionally their real motive is to make 'voting people" out of them - either by amnesty.citizenship, or just using them as more fodder for illegitimate ballots.

Plus, they more we invite poverty stricken people with promises to give them free stuff merely exacerbates the existing poverty base, creating more problems that can be used to push the "racism" bullshite.

It is all a bad idea - it never ever does any good for the honest CITIZENS of this nation.

Damn. - how old are you??

you sound like a starry eyed university student who has never witnessed the destruction caused by ill-conceived 'do-good' ideas.
