That part right there is pure bullshite.
These tax dollars of yours goes 90% into corrupt politicians pockets (on both sides of the deal) = this is the 'free money" by which high rolling politicians on both sides of the deal are able to purchase multiple million dollar mansions = on their 'civil service' salaries.
GIVING should only be done by INDIVIDUALs using their OWN money. - anything else is a magnet for corruption under the cover of 'charity'

If you are going to go with “the money wouldn’t be spent the way you are saying” then why would that not be true for a wall or border security? Couldn’t that money be corruptly misappropriated in a similar fashion?
“Yeah but corruption” isn’t a great argument for or against the hypothesis of an idea. Sure, once you agree on the efficacy of an idea, at its purest, you can discuss corruption.
“Yea but corruption!” Is the same nonstarter that anti-capitalists use.
