“I really liked Auburn a lot,” he said. “I got a sense of home there.”
One thing that stood out was Auburn’s new football facility, which currently is under construction. According to Ausberry, that “was very cool.”
Mostly, though, it’s the relationships with the staff that have Auburn in contention.
“I like the people over there,” Ausberry said. “Coach (Derek) Mason, Coach (Zac) Etheridge, Coach (Bryan) Harsin, Coach (Trovon) Reed. They’re cool people. They’re on the rise. The new coaching staff is doing very well. They win big games. I’ve been watching them this season.”
