Non-PCUSA theologically conservative (little-o orthodox) Reformed Presbyterian denominations have stayed mostly solid.

I went Southern Baptist —> Reformed —> Orthodox. If you take the western view of sotierology you have to have cognitive dissonance to be anything other than Calvinist.

If Jesus died for all of the sins of all the people in the world, then everybody would be saved because he would’ve died for the sin of rejecting him. There’s no point for Hell.

If Jesus didn’t die for the sin of rejecting him, then he died for some of the sins of all the people in the world and therefore you are saved by works. You can boast in your salvation theoretically.

Therefore, if Hell exists And to be saved without works, Jesus had to have died for all of the sins for some people, the elect.

Agree, most of the non-PCUSA reformed churches are solid. That includes the PCA which often gets confused with the PCUSA.

PCUSA was once the largest of the Presbyterian denominations but they began moving away from core doctrine in the 1970s, initiating the reformed groups like PCA, Orthodox Presbyterians, etc. to begin new organizations. PCA is growing fast.
