Go to every meeting, call every elected official in your district. Explain how incredibly bad this could be for drainage and traffic. Demand mitigation studies. Make sure whatever is built there matches the surrounding neighborhood.
You might not prevent the development, but you might get it scaled back. But if it's already approved you are fricked.
