LSU better start getting in lead on NIL deals

It seems like we may be lacking on NIL deals. Is this public information? How do we see where we rank in attracting deals for our players?

Guy on Rant made an excellent point. Need TAF to get a yearly budgeted $$ amount (millions) and use this to award star players.

Was NIL suppose to work the way it is working. Schools paying players.

More Velveeta cheese, please.

We paid all this money for our coach when no one is realizing you need a much larger fund for these players year in and out due to NIL
Jacoby Matthews might go to fricking A&M because he’s likely getting paid.. that’s unacceptable for him to go there due to finances
LSU has to get their shite together

All I know is LSU needs to get with the program quick, because they will lose recruits.

Do you really think the players weren't getting paid before NIL? Think about Arik Gilbert. Now re-think your whole post

Bring on Shaq as a consultant or even more if he would take it . He loves the place, wouldn’t necessarily have to be there all the time, could be near his son, and knows more about branding and how to promote than anyone in sports.
And it’s not like he’s doing anything other than some halftime shows for NBA games from a studio.

Why did we just sign a deal with Ceasar’s and not use the shite out of that?

Small state. Not great economically, limited reach economically, lack of big businesses, smaller alumni network than other SEC schools, etc. All this is hurting us. Need to funnel some serious cash into NIL and make their own marketing department in the AD.
We may see a big power shift in the NCAA soon due to this and transfer portal. Probably why USC went in raw on OU because they have the power of SOCAL behind them which can bring some insane NIL deals.

There was the HUGE NILSU campaign (Olivia in Times Square, etc), but not much seems to have come out of the marketing ploy that I know about/

NIL money starts in the parking lots. Brennan had a $80k F250, Stingley had a $100k Cobra GT500, Elias had a $100k car as well. Trust me… the big time recruits get taken care of.

Quinn Ewers has made over $1 million from NIL deals and he just entered the transfer portal

NIL deals will ruin college football.

i was told when this all started LSU was "lightyears ahead of everyone" with our NILSU campaign and all the Times Square publicity we putout.

with LSU being a bigfish themselves, I'm curious to see how we can take advantage of the NIL in the early goings. With the transition of the new coach and staff incoming, I'm not sure how much they'll be able to recruit the back end of 2021 class
