I have an older VCR/DVD combo that only has RCA jacks (red, white, yellow). Anyone successfully connect something with RCA jacks to a TV with HDMI ports? I bought an AV to HDMI converter but it did not work.

I tried one and no luck. Do you have a recommendation?

Not ideal if you are using the coax connection but you can use a RF modulator for RCA -> Cable/Coax converter like this. Can probably find it cheaper

I'm using one for Directv mirror in another room that already had the coax in the wall. You can also do RCA to S-video if that is an option on both devices.

I had a generic one from Amazon 10 years ago to get a Chromecast working in my wife's van. It should have worked.

Would this work to hook up N64 to modern TV?

I tried a different one and it works. This is the one that worked for me.
