He absolutely can and wouldn’t care if he did but also agree that if he keeps some of the current staff it means they earned it and deserve to coach here.

We are 11-11 in last 22 games and without Joe Burrow we would not have had a 10 win season since 2013. Kelly needs to make any and every adjustment that is necessary

I'm sure he can. Woodward isn't going to convince a coach with this resume to come to LSU for "Mel Tucker Money" with such restrictions.
Will he? Probably not.
However, based on what we've heard so far, especially alignment, those position coaches future (for the most part anyway) will not be determined until the coordinators are known.
The goal will be the coordinators have to fit the picture (a.k.a. alignment) with CBK. Then those position coaches have to align with the coordinators. That makes for a more efficient process.
For a process to work it has to be efficient; and for it to be efficient there has to be alignment. For there to be alignment you have to have buy in at every level. For there to be buy in the level above has to have confidence in capability. To be capable you have to be a good coach.

It’s his staff. This isn’t a popularity contest or a dock-measuring contest about who’s worked hard. If there is someone on staff who Kelly thinks is a good coach, then he can make the decision to keep him. If the guy doesn’t fit what a Kelly wants to do, he should get rid of him regardless of who he is, what he does, how he recruits, etc.

100% if every single one leaves I’m fine with it! He is the boss and let him do it like he wants. That’s why you paid him $100 million. I’m not nervous about coaches or players. I’m for the players and staff who want to be here!
