Bounceback Year? Doesn't feel like it.

I think one of the reasons Saint fans are so..

frustrated
Is that this was supposed to be the year the Saints regained focus, shook off the SB hangover, and came out hungrier than ever. The running game was going to restore offensive balance with our stable of studs and the D line was going to be beastly with all the Beef we acquired in the offseason.
To think that we've regressed from last year, especially in the trenches, is beyond frustating. Hence some ridiculously overemotional threads.

I think we'll do alright, but it seems like we just play down to teams like that and it came back to bite us..

We won 11. We're spoiled. Last week would have been a typical game for the 2000-2005 Saints when the only thing we were consistent at was being inconsistent. The difference is now that we don't expect to be let down. We expect to be great.
We'll be fine. I'm not sure this team has what it takes to win the super bowl but they'll make the playoffs for the third straight year which is something we've never accomplished. Be grateful.

Gugs, we went to playoffs in 1990, 1991, & 1992.

I don't count Jim Mora Sr. years bc we had the best defense in all of football. What a letdown that offense was, Bobby Hebert.
