Shot one this morning chasing does and stanky as hell just north of Natchez.

They were running wild in gloster/centerville area the last few days. Daughter shot a nice 8 trying to get laid.

I think the first rut is over in Livingston. Not much was seen at our lease this past week, and didn't hear many shots in the area either. Waiting on the secondary rut now.

Killed a 10pt Saturday afternoon pushing does. Area 6, near Wakefield. He was in full rut and reeked of “skunk odor.” Been hunting hard all season, this was the first aggressive rut activity I’ve seen.
