I have a chance to invest in a privately held business. I can do it through my 401(k) but I am thinking about using my Roth for the investment. My Roth currently sits at T. Rowe Price but they do not offer a self directed option that allows you to invest in a closely held corporation.

Anyone have experience with an IRA custodian that will allow these type of investments? I found a couple of listings online but I wasn't familiar with any of the firms.

I use Provident Trust. They are very good.
There are tons out there.
Strata Trust, Quest, New Direction, IRA Services..
Good luck.
